IT Project Manager

Job description

1. Establish Project Governance: Set up and structure the project's governance framework to ensure proper oversight and decision-making.
2. Oversee Business Requirements: Manage the process of gathering, documenting, and validating business requirements to align with project objectives.
3. Lead Architectural Coordination: Coordinate and guide architectural planning and deliverables to ensure they meet technical and project needs.
4. Develop Budget and Roadmap: Create and manage the project budget and develop a detailed roadmap for project execution.
5. Track Project Progress: Monitor and report on the project's status, including progress, timing, scope, quality, and budget, to key stakeholders.
6. Risk and Issue Management: Anticipate potential risks and issues, and implement strategies to mitigate them.
7. Stakeholder Communication: Maintain proactive communication with all stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment.
8. Motivate Project Teams: Inspire and motivate project teams to achieve high levels of productivity and morale

Criteria

• Experience:
  • Demonstrated experience in managing strategic IT projects
  • Experience in the insurance or banking sectors is advantageous.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge and application of Prince2 project management methodology.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Mandatory fluency in English, with knowledge of French and/or Dutch being an added benefit.
